"…Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says." Mark 11:22b-23.
"Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or else make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." Matthew 12:33-27.
Recently, I heard a well-known Christian preacher remark on television that the United States of America is slowly losing its freedoms. That same sentiment is also being expressed on some politically oriented television shows and I would suspect radio shows too. While I do acknowledge challenges to the freedoms we United States citizens are blessed with, I also realize that talking the problem can perpetuate the problem. Life and death is in the power of the tongue. (Proverbs 18:21) If all we do is talk the existence of and complain about the problem, the problem will be perpetuated and grow. However if we "speak to that mountain" in faith as Jesus commanded us to, we can get rid of any threat to our freedoms that are guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States.
What is needed is an application of the Word of God that promotes the perpetuation of freedoms in America. Any "mountain" that would seek to remove our freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America is a mountain that should be addressed using the Word of God spoken in the power of the Holy Ghost! In Romans 8:11 Apostle Paul said,
"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to (the King James Version uses the word quicken) your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."
When a person receives Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, that individual's spirit is recreated. That recreation of the human spirit is what is commonly called being "born again". However, AFTER, an individual is born again, that individual should be baptized in the Holy Spirit to have the fullness of God's power resident and operating in their life. It is that fullness of power that Apostle Paul speaks of in Romans 8:11. It is through the power of the Holy Ghost and in the authority that has been given to every Christian that mountains are to be spoken to so that they will be removed. The fullness of power that Apostle Paul spoke of is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead - VERY powerful stuff. Nothing can stand against it.
Jesus said "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth." Matthew 28:18. He also said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and The End…who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty…I am He who lives, and who was dead, and behold I am alive forever more. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades (Hell) and of Death." Revelation 1:8, 18. Nothing and no one anywhere is more powerful than Jesus. This same Jesus has given to Christians, His authority (through His name), His Spirit (the Holy Ghost) and His Word. That is why He said "Have faith in God." We as Christians are to take what Jesus has given us and "take care of business". So why are we "running scared" that we are losing our freedoms in America that are guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America? Why aren't we exercising our faith in God by using what Jesus gave us to speak to ANY mountain that would threaten our freedoms and "take care of business"? I am.
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and EVERY high thing that EXALTS ITSELF against the knowledge of God, bringing EVERY thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ" 2 Corinthians 10:5.
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12.
